Thank you for giving me the opportunity to teach your children beyond the classroom and into the world of sports.  My coaches and myself have many years of experience in coaching.  Not only youth football but we have coached several other sports through the years.

I grew up most of my sporting life in Salinas, California. I played Baseball, Basketball, and Football.  I had a wonderful 11 years in baseball with one of the years coached by my mother. I have coached the last 7 years at various levels of baseball.

Football.  My true love next to my wife and 4 children.  I played Pop Warner for 4 years in Salinas.  I went to Palma High School in Salinas.  Palma High school is a perennial powerhouse in High School football.  It is a top high school in California academically and for it's athletic programs.  I had coaches there that have affected me for the rest of my life on and off the field. 

I bring the philosophy of the coaches that came before me and coaches who I currently coach with.  The respect my staff has with one another is not found very often.  We will prepare your children to be ready for the next step up and for sports in general.  The main thing we want to stress is that this is FUN!  Obviously winning is more fun but they all need to understand the joy of the sport.  They also need to understand the Family value of the sport of Football.  Out of all the sports I and my staff coach, football is the one true sport where you need TEAM work to succeed.  We stress that with the Thunder staff.   Not just family on the field but family off the field.

In closing, I once again like to thank you for letting myself and my staff mold your children into the next phase of sports.  Welcome to the Tokay Thunder family.
